Sunscape is a multicultural dub reggaeband from Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. They play together from1995. The band was founded by Mustafa Ketami, drums - Nordine Ketami, keyboard and melodica - Bram van Meervenne, bass - Andres Fuentealba, guitar. Later, Leonardo Maldonado,samples and Kim Vanderstijlen, percussion and didgeridoo, joined the band.
Sunscape already performed live troughout Belgium en Holland. They played the Sfinks Festival at Boechout, The Vooruit at Ghent, at Hof ter Loo and De Singel at Antwerpen,and even at Flanders Expo. They played as a support act for Linton Kwezie Johnson, The Mighty Diamonds, Transglobal Underground, Astralasia ...
They recorded 3 demo's until now, that were sold in limited quantities at gigs. They also were played several times on Studio Brussels, and one of their songs was released on the Debuutrock CD 98. In the same year they play a live concert for V.P.R.O. radio (Holland). The line up of the band has changed during the years. For two years, Gambian singer Sillah temporary joined the band. Recently, Bram van Meervenne stopped playing with the band. Andres plays the bass now. Phlippo, vocals ; Hans, trumpet and Jan van den Berghe, Guitar, also joined Sunscape.
